VINEYARD UPDATE –
 
I wanted to send out an email to everyone on our email list to let you all know about some of the changes that are happening for the Vineyard Community in the upcoming weeks and months.
 
RUMORS OF MERGING… - it is true, the rumors of the Vineyard officially merging with Roots and Origins are true.  This summer we will be worshipping together with both communities and by the end of the summer “OFFICIALLY” becoming one unified CHURCH in Boulder.  You can find out all the nitty gritty details by joining in with us on our combined activities this summer.  Or if you have specific questions you can email me and I will do my best to fill you in.
 
SUNDAY GATHERINGS – for the summer our Sunday Gatherings will be together with the ROOTS & ORIGINS PEEPS on SUNDAY EVENINGS at 6:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church downtown Boulder.  1421 Spruce Street

For the first couple Sundays you may see some signs that say “ORIGINS COMMUNITY” don’t be alarmed you are in the right place – until we figure out what our new church is going to be called we are just calling it “THE COLLECTIVE” – so if you see ORIGINS OR COLLECTIVE you are the right place.  Brad from Origins is speaking tonight and then I will be speaking the following week of the 15th.
 
COMMUNITY – For the summer come and check out our Sunday Gatherings to learn more about how to get plugged into the community.  If you want to hang with the Vineyard Clan then Thursday nights is the place to be – Tompkins’ Pad at 365 Seminole Drive in Boulder every Thursday night from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – bring a dish to pass and childcare is provided, but you have to let us know if you are planning on bringing the kiddos.
 
EMAILS – from now on all of you will be migrated to the new email list that will be sent out to the new combined church peeps.  If you want to be removed from the list, please let me know and I’ll hit delete J Otherwise you’ll be getting emails about all the latest and greatest happenings of this new MERGED UNITED CHURCH COMMUNITY.
 
That’s all I have to say for now, I hope everyone is doing great.  Have a GREAT SUMMER IN BOULDER and for those of you who are outside the city for the SUMMER – we’ll see you when you get back.
